A character filled Victorian brick home, set amongst the stunning tree lined streets of Flemington. This forever home was brought back to life with colours, materials and textures that spoke to our clients’ hearts. Our brief was focused: multiple rooms joining in cohesive balance yet not necessarily all looking the same, the spaces became one via repeated shapes and stunning raw, tactile materials.

Walls of soft, tranquil blue tiles, subjected to filtered northern light creating neutral, soothing sanctuaries with clean lines and un-fussy details, allowing statement fixtures to shine. The proportionate spaces speak to each other, whilst also incorporating small features from the rest of the home, bringing them together as one.
Atlantic Stone granite, the centrepiece of the kitchen, satisfied the client’s attraction to cool blue tones. The pantry boasted earthy red travertine, which carefully matched the granite’s rusted knots and the indigenous artwork. Muting the pantry finishes and fittings to black permitted the splashback tiles to be the hero, and first impression when in eyeshot of the artwork.
