Nestled in the heart of Port Melbourne, this Victorian home called for a functional central bathroom that blended both the historic and modern sections of the building together in unison. The simple yet bold monochromatic space identified with both old and new, using distinct playful patterns and striking features against a vivid white backdrop.

Set against three walls of pared back white tiles and simple black fixtures, the contrast of the statement monochrome tiles and vanity made the feature wall that much more distinctive. And aesthetics aside, the space functioned beautifully and encouraged multiple users at one time, which was crucial for the young family who resided there.
